Donald Fielding has been interested in and active in local politics for over half a century. This collection consists of newspaper articles, correspondence, letters to the editor, and other information gathered on a wide array of Dallas topics, including the Greater Dallas Human Relations Council, Goals for Dallas, Citizens Charter Association, Committee for Good Schools, Citizens for Representative Government, Dallas School Board, at-large voting versus single member districts, race, religion, among others. The collection also includes information about Fielding's personal life, including birth certificates, Boy Scouts, Army, and business material.
