Resources: For parents and teachers
- DASH (Dallas After School Homework Help) (Requires library card log-in): Services includes live homework help in all major subjects, including world languages. A writing lab provides help within 24 hours of submitting your work online and a test center for the SAT, ACT, GED and more. An adult education center offers help with US Citizenship testing, resume and cover letter writing assistance. Live tutoring is from 2 p.m. to 12 a.m. Spanish language assistance is available during the same hours.
- Virtual Pre-K is a service offered by Dallas Independent School District. Create your own FREE user name and password to enjoy stories and games especially designed for preschoolers.
- Every Child Ready to Read provides workshops for children ages five and under covering six pre-reading skills and art forms.
