Family Literacy Class

While their parents learn English, their children (ages 3 to third grade) learn literacy skills in another classroom. Families share what they learned at the end of class. Registration is required. Register by January 31, 2012 online, by phone or with you local librarian.
Library Live!

Library Live! is a free monthly event at Dallas-area libraries where participants of all ages are invited to have fun and connect with others in their communities. Through programs that encourage and support creative learning, Library Live! offers something for the entire family. Monthly events feature literacy activities for children and adults, cultural programs and workshops, career exploration and training, hands-on arts projects, live entertainment and much more. Library Live! is presented by Target. This month's presentation is Music Discovery Box with the International Museum of Cultures.
