A Tree is Nice

Find a new appreciation for trees with master storyteller Rolanda Brigham as you discuss their many wonderful qualities and how the different seasons affect them. Not only are they beautiful and involve many of our fondest childhood memories, they are extremely important to the environment! Reenact the life cycle of a tree from a sapling to a fully grown masterpiece using character voices and slow motion.

Tadpole Tales: Toddler Storytime

Tadpole Tales is a fun, free, and social way for the very young to learn language and counting skills. This storytime aims to introduce children to the world of books and reading with fun, interactive experiences in a safe environment. Tadpole Tales incudes stories, rhymes, songs, finger plays, bubbles and ends with a simple craft activity. Total program length is between 30 and 45 minutes. Join children's librarian, Ms. Anna, every Tuesday at 11:15 for Tadpole Tales!

This program is targeted to children ranging in age from 2 to 4 years old, but all ages are welcome!

Where: Renner Frankford Branch Library (in the Auditorium)

Lily Pad Lapsit is a great way for caregivers and babies to bond through movement, song, play, and rhyme. Children's Librarian, Ms. Anna, will guide caregivers through 20 minutes of interactive programming, and then provide soft baby-safe toys for 10 minutes of free play and soothing music. Give your little one a head start to literacy by joining us at Lily Pad Lapsit every Wednesday morning.

This program is targeted to babies 0-18 months, but all ages are welcome!


Knit and Crochet Club

When: Wednesday, April 29, 2015 - 6:00 PM
Where: Renner Frankford Branch Library (in the In Library)

Calling knitters and crocheters of all levels! Join Millicent and other yarn enthusiasts on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 to knit, socialize, and to share your advice and patterns with others. All levels are welcome--assistance is provided. Bring your yarn, sewing needles, a project you're currently working, or start from scratch.
