The Science and Art of Color
When: Thursday, July 30, 2015 - 2:00 PM
Where: Renner Frankford Branch Library (in the Auditorium)
Learn about the science and art of color during this two-part program. The first part involves a hands-on paint project. Each participant will be challenged to see just how many different colors he/she can make using a limited number of paint and colors. Each participant will get a chance to create his/her very own masterpiece to take home using all the shades from the challenge.
The second part of the program will involve having a digital chat Q&A session with a professional who uses the science of art and color in her job each and every day. We will have a virtual meeting with Melissa Smith-Hazen. Melissa is an expert in package design and retail branding. She has helped to launch and grow both private label and national brands.(She was the lead creative mind behind Bath and Body Works Naturals Soap collection!)
