Thirteen Moons on a Turtle's Back
Did you know that there are 13 moons in every year, each of which has a name and a story? And, that there are always 13 scales on a turtle's back? Each represents myths or legends of different Native American tribes. Learn more about this fascinating relationship and the closeness of native people to nature. Visual artist and tree art specialist Nadine Burke will help you make your own turtle and tree to take home.


Parks at Wynnewood Urban Design Strategy

The CityDesign Studio has worked with adjacent neighborhoods over the past two years to identify a vision for the phasing of the Parks at Wynnewood. This is an opportunity to share the final document with the neighbor. This meeting is open to the public.

From the construction of a new building to the number of petals
on a flower, there is a formula for everything. In this hands-on
program, you'll learn about math and simple machines, how they
work and where they are found in our everyday lives. Among several
stations, young mathematicians will explore the Fibonacci sequence
and work to build simple and compound machines using LEGO®
Education simple machines kits.
