Would you like someone to guide you step-by-step in the online employment application process? Or would like someone to help you create or review your resume?

The "1-on-1 Job Application Assistance Program" at the Audelia Road Library can help. This program is led by volunteers, Scott Watson and Nicole Cochran.

Get help with:
-Guidance on crafting/updating resumes
-Online job searching
-Online applications
-Creating job site profiles

Please set up an appointment with librarian Elizabeth Kwan in order to ensure a volunteer will be available to meet with you.

Appointments available Tuesday-Thursday evenings from 6-8 PM.


Scams & Frauds Prevention for Seniors

Where: Audelia Road Branch Library (in the Classroom 1 & 2)

Come and learn about the most common type of scams targeted at Senior Citizens. Learn about general, internet, and phone scams from the Dallas Police Department. Most of all, this program will arm you with the knowledge to prevent you or a loved one from being the next victim.

This program is presented by the Dallas Police Department and is a part of a series of Neighborhood Safety Programs held at the Audelia Road Branch Library.


1-on-1 Computer Tutoring

Do you have some questions when it comes to using a computer? Would you like to become more familiar with your laptop or tablet. Our staff can help you out by answering questions and teaching you some basic computer skills. Call and register for a one hour personal tutoring session.

Chess Club

Come join us at the library for a round of Chess the first Tuesday and Thursday of every month. Meet other chess players and have some fun. All ages and levels are welcome.
