The Technology Tutor

Do you have some questions on how to use the computer? Like how to email, download, or using popular software programs? Or perhaps you received a tablet or a smart phone and are not too sure what to do with it?

Please join Joe, our new technology tutor volunteer, every Sunday for assistance.

In order to ensure our volunteer is able to meet with you, please be sure to schedule an appointment by calling or seeing a staff member at the Audelia Road Branch Library.


Simultaneous Chess Exhibition

When: Sunday, August 28, 2016 - 2:00 PM
Where: Audelia Road Branch Library (in the Auditorium)

Former U.S. Women's chess champion Alexey Root will play fifteen members of the public at the same time. The first fifteen people who arrive on August 28 will play Dr. Root initially. As those players finish, new players will fill their empty seats. Anyone who wins a chess game against Dr. Root will be given a free copy of her seventh book, Prepare With Chess Strategy.


Copies of Prepare With Chess Strategy will also be for sale (cash only) at the simultaneous chess exhibition. All ages of challengers and spectators are welcome at this free chess event at the Audelia Road Library.



Library Chess Club

Where: Audelia Road Branch Library (in the Classroom 1 & 2)

Come join us at the library for a round of Chess the first and third Tuesday of every month. Meet other chess players and have some fun. All ages and levels are welcome.
