Power of Air

Explore the properties of air and the Bernoulli effect. Students will learn how to inflate an airbag with just one breath of air, and experiment with the solarbag, which rises as the sun heats the air molecules inside. Everyone will have an airbag to inflate and take home.​ Sponsored by the Dallas Foundation.


Boogie Woogie Books: Preschool Storytime

Interactive storytime featuring books, movement, rhymes, music, and a craft activity. Ages 2-6 years old. Join us every week for great stories on a variety of themes.


Dallas Children's Theater Workshop "The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley."

When: Friday, July 10, 2015 - 11:00 AM

Elementary school-aged children will enjoy watching this story acted out and have the opportunity to participate. Children will also be invited to join in fun activites and learn some basic acting skills.


ESL Citizenship Classes

When: Saturday, July 11, 2015 - 10:00 AM
Where: Audelia Road Branch Library (in the Auditorium)

DFW International Community Alliance and the Audelia Road Branch Library would like to invite green card holders with limited English to participate in FREE classes to prepare them for the U.S. Citizenship Naturalization Exam. Each series is 12 sessions long (24 hours total). Registration is not required. Students may begin the course at any time during the series.
NO CLASS ON JULY 4TH 2015.


Volunteer Orientation

Want to volunteer at the Library? Come to our volunteer orientation the second Saturday of the month to find out how you can help. Volunteers must be over 14 years of age (with parental permission) and consent to a background check.
